Problem
|
CCTC website is a content managed site which enables them
to publish relevant information quickly and effectively.
The tool used for content management is
Plone CMS
.
CCTC needed some additional functionality to be built into the system
like forums, surveys, document library etc which was not available
in the existing system. The new functionality had to be built into
the existing system without letting the user having to learn two systems.

Solution
|
EcommIT designed an application using the
XIBOS
framework
which integrated well into the Plone administrative interface.
A single sign-on protocol was designed to ensure that
user needs to login only once to work on both the systems.
EcommIT team worked along with Plone engineers to understand
and develop a system which would work seamlessly with the CMS.
The requirement study was done at the client location in
Canada and the development and testing was carried out
from the offshore location in India.
