A brief History

EcommIT Inc, USA was founded in 1999 by Satish C. Dutt with a vision to create e-business enabling software products and services. In 2001, EcommIT USA was acquired by Silverline Technologies, a New Jersey based corporation. In 2002 , the company was bought back by Mr. Dutt. In 2004 it expanded its operation to Ottawa, Canada.

EcommIT Labs, Infopark, Cochin, India (EL), is the off-shore development centre for EcommIT Inc. in New Jersey, USA and Ottawa, Canada (EU). EcommIT Labs is an 100 % Export Only Unit registered under Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and commenced its operations in February 2000. It supports high- quality, cost effective application development and delivery processes.

EcommIT Labs operates from a 5000 sq. ft. area in the 3rd floor of Thapasya Building, Infopark, Kochi. In 2003, EcommIT Labs received funding from Kerala Venture Capital Fund (KVCF).
